Outdoor Living: Design and technological innovation with MDi

Outdoor living is redefined in this project by our partner Koelking Wobbe, where the outdoor kitchen and dining table are focal points for a space conceived for enjoyment. Here, our MDi Silk and Umbra surfaces show how design, durability, and innovation can be seamlessly integrated into exterior settings.

One of the most distinctive features of this kitchen is the incorporation of MDi Induction, our invisible induction system, integrated specifically into the cooking area designed with Umbra. While our Silk Blanco collection has been used for the food preparation surfaces, adding brightness, smoothness and visual purity, Umbra incorporates the induction system, allowing the worktop to function as a discreet, continuous, high-performance cooking area. The result is a uniform, minimalist surface where advanced functionality combines with the aesthetics for which MDi is renowned.

In turn, the outdoor table, crafted entirely in Umbra, is the focal point for social interaction, merging contemporary design with exceptional resistance to the elements.

This project shows how our MDi surfaces enable the creation of outdoor furniture of the highest quality: bespoke solutions that unite technical precision and aesthetic appeal, where innovation and natural beauty take centre stage.
