To Kati Allo: reinventing sweetness with Geo

In the Greek city of Xanthi, To Kati Allo is a patisserie whose design stands out for its careful balance and purity of materials. In this design project by Koutras Konstantinos Design Studio, the aim was to create interiors where every single line or detail exudes the same sense of restfulness and continuity.

The project’s design revolves around a diagonal axis that crosses the patisserie from the entrance to the back of the premises, reinforced by using the MDi Geo Crema collection throughout on the floors, furniture and even some of the specialist equipment. In this way, a uniform, wrap-round feel was created.

The studio designed and tailor-made all the furniture, striving to fully integrate form and material. Geo boosts the sensation of soothing tranquillity and luminosity, adding a subtle texture and natural air that contrasts with the precision of the design.

Every single detail, from the countertops to the lighting, has been conceived to contribute to the coherence of the whole space, with Geo as a linking thread, lending the project its distinctive hallmark while also ensuring resistance and timeless beauty.

Thanks to all this, given the versatility of our MDi surfaces, the project is a perfect illustration of how commercial spaces can be transformed into all-round aesthetic experiences, marrying functionality with emotional appeal.
