INALCO received financial support from the Centre for Industrial Technological Developments (CDTI) to conduct an R&D PROJECT entitled RESEARCH INTO NEW FUNCTIONAL COATINGS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR CERAMIC SURFACES IN THE FIELD OF THERMAL COMFORT (File IDI-20200982).
The project was aimed at the development of functional coatings for ceramic surfaces. These coatings would act as solutions in the field of thermal comfort by giving the surfaces heatable properties for use as dish warmers or heatable cladding for bathroom walls.
The project was carried out in the town of Alcora (Castellón) over a period of 20 months, ending on February 28th 2022, with a budget of 434,894.00 euros. It was co-funded by the CDTI and the ERDF.
